PoETS offer a community, a ‘base camp’ for historians of various stripes, especially early career researchers, interested in presenting papers in international conferences and submitting their drafts to journals. Our aim is to horn skills and build experience needed in this increasingly globalised academia. We are calling for presenters. All those working on politics, economy, and ideas and cultures about them from historical perspectives will be considered. We are also thinking about organising training sessions for improving writing and presentation skills.
