Information for the side-trip to Kyoto
We have now reserved 17 rooms at Hotel Granvia in Kyoto, which is sold out for November 4, a very popular time in Kyoto. The hotel is conveniently located above the JR Kyoto Station. If you are going to Kyoto and have not already given Paul Moore your credit card information (see below) to confirm your reservation you should do it ASAP. Otherwise, you may lose your spot!
The price per room (regardless of single or double occupancy) is JPY24,000++(JPY27,720 tax incl.) per night. The optional American breakfast is JPY2,400++(JPY2,772 incl.) per person per day.

Their cancellation policy is:
1. No charges will apply for cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the accommodation date.
2. If cancellation is made 2 to 13 days prior to the accommodation date, 10% of the room payment will be charged for each room booked.
3. If cancellation is made 1 day prior to the accommodation date, 20% of the room payment will be charged for each room booked.
4. If cancellation is made on the accommodation date, 80% of the room payment will be charged for each room booked.
5. Full room payment for each room booked will be charged for a "no show."
The remaining Kyoto costs will be approximately as follows:
1. Dinner at Manshige, 15,000 yen
Manshige is a traditional Japanese restaurant in Kyoto that offers a special Kaiseki (course dinner).
2. Bus in Kyoto, 8,000 yen
3. Bullet train to/from Kyoto, 28,000 yen
